It’s been nice weather and mountain changing colours dramatically... Freediving is already end of season here in Akita but I’ve been conducting workshop for breathing and visualization technique. Last Sunday I had a workshop for surfers.  Which was basic knowledge of freediving, breathing technique and visualization.  This was my first time in Akita Japan.  Which is my hometown.  I planned this workshop in Shonan this February but of course Corona situation made this plan disappeared.  I’m glad this workshop went well and hopefully not just once, because breathing exercise is very important for not only freediving or surfing, it’s good for everyone.  (This photo is taking by me in the Maldives...)

Haven't been summer in Japan so long, Akita has been really nice weather. Water tempertuer is about 25℃ right now. So I decided to start teach free diving in Akita. Here is not much deep water so it is perfect for beginner.   Will be until end of September unless someone keen to go windy weather in October. Missing ocean at the moment, I need physio to recover my shoulder... So I just posting this video where I was in Tonga 2015. I went Happai, and Eua. Such a magical moment,,, swimming with them more that 1.5 hours non stop!!

Actually they were mating... This is same dolphins as last dolphin post.

After this trip, we even saw school of cow nose ray and hammer head shark at the other spot. It was an amazing day for free diving.

Early morning is the best time to enter the water, school of humphead parrot fish are cleaning... This photo was first time I met Sam while I was just free diving at the reef in Amed. He just came infant of me with camera in his hand... Some how ended up I was modeling...

A Journalist Jeremy wrote about his freediving course with me.  It was not a best condition to teach that day, super strong current and bumpy water, line was pulling up and down.  But last day of session was better condition than first day.  Best time in Anantara dhigu would be Feb to May. 

Freediver course to 3 students. It was bit strong current! But they did very well!

3weeks ago we were swimming with 9 mantas at same time! Then next day our all instructors went same spot again.  We found only one manta. Near Anantara in South male atoll, popular dive site called "KudaGiri" which has wreck just beside giri.
